Weeds and clover grows wild thyme. Does anyone know of a herbicide that will kill the thyme?

I used thyme as cover soil on a hill. It's nicer, but other things are more and more through. Too many weeds by hand.

Oh, no! We can not kill thyme! I wish I had better news for you – no herbicides can use what you do not kill the thyme, if it touches, but one thing you can do. Put on gloves disposable gloves and heavy leather on them. Get a herbicide, as WeedBGone, Roundup, etc., and dip a cotton in it. With your hands safely inside thick gloves, balls just a touch cotton for weeds, avoiding the thyme. Some herbicides can get into a bit of thyme, and can kill a very small part, but again grow. You can avoid working on a windless day. You can make a small container of liquid with you while you work, and always soak the cotton in the liquid. This method is tedious, and can not be too easy weeding, but it works. Each year, thick thyme, which will be harder for weeds to take hold. Hopefully this will be the last year you go through this dispute,
