What pollinates a Brugmansia? (Angel Trumpet)?
I live in northern Ohio, and babied have a "pet" Brugmansia more ten years. He was 8 feet tall and stopped, thank God, because I have to drag the poor in October. What I could never know is: what pollinates huge white flowers? A bat? It is fragrant at night. And what he does not live in Ohio. I've never seen seeds. Note: not a Datura Brugmansia. The flowers are simulated, but the plants are different. Brugmansia flowers hang down, while Datura flowers point upwards.
I think it's a moth, but I have never had a Brugmansia seeds in Northern California, either.
